Acclaimed singer, songwriter, artist and performer Kate Ceberano (AM) has today released a further single from her forthcoming new album My Life Is A Symphony, the hauntingly beautiful Louis’ Song.
Discussing the single, Kate explains, “Louis’ Song is actually for all my brothers, nephew and any young person growing through adolescence, waiting to find out who they will soon become. I grew up listening to my brother learning guitar in the next room. It was cool and a comfort for me to fall asleep to. Louis reminds me of his uncle Phil and is now a husband and dad to two very awesome kids. He has “ kept on listening to his choir” and living his song!”.

My Life Is A Symphony is the 30th album in a celebrated career, and will be released on May 12 through ABC Music. It is a breathtaking celebration of her songwriting and recording tenure, featuring reimagined versions of her most iconic songs, Brave and Pash and personal favourites spanning her four decades in the business. All tracks have been recorded with epic cinematic arrangements by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and were written or co-written by Ceberano. Fans who pre-order the album can then enter a competition to win a private concert from Kate at their home – all details can be found at www.kateceberano.com.
With a prestigious line-up of tour dates accompanying the release of My Life Is A Symphony, Kate Ceberano is thrilled to announce a second show for Melbourne, due to overwhelming demand. This new date with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will take place at Melbourne Town Hall on September 28. Tickets on sale from 10am today at mso.com.au.
Kate shares her excitement around the new date, saying, “It is such a privilege on every level to be able to perform with this symphony orchestra just ONCE, but to have, in my beloved Melbourne, a second opportunity to deliver these beautiful arrangements by Roscoe James Irwin with an orchestra I have respected and loved my whole life, well…it just moves me to tears!”
This new album release and accompanying tour brings Kate Ceberano back to her essence as a musical force, an electrifying live performer and one of the greatest voices of her generation.
A national tour with state orchestras commences with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra at Hamer Hall on Saturday May 27 and Melbourne Town Hall on Thursday September 28, alongside the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra at Festival Theatre on Saturday June 10 as part of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival opening weekend, celebrating 50th anniversary of the Adelaide Festival Centre. A Sydney show and further national tour dates will be announced very soon!
These performances are certain to be a stunning live reflection of Ceberano’s rise to the pinnacles of rock, pop, soul and jazz.
With 11 platinum albums, 10 Top 10 singles, 4 ARIA Awards from 19 nominations and over 8,000 live performances, Kate Ceberano is one of the most celebrated Australian artists of all time.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
