Bineal Roy, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Sydney has announced his second solo single, ‘Olden Eyes’, to be released concurrently with a music video on Friday 23rd June, 2023.

With his band Adaptors, Bineal released a string of successful singles including ‘Closer’ (which had its video aired on MTV Australia), ‘Gossamer’ which aired on over 50 Australian radio stations and the cinematic ‘Crystal Eye’, with an epic video to boot. Each single was backed with mesmerising East coast tours and finally topped with the band’s sophomore EP, Out of This World in 2019.
In 2022, Bineal made his solo debut with ‘Maybe’, a poppy, hopefuly rumination of what fate has in store. The video was much loved and the song itself received strong coverage from being featured in blog posts across over 20 different countries to being added to 30-40 different Spotify playlists as well as regional airplay on Australian radio.

His second single ‘Olden Eyes’ explores the connection between souls over different lifetimes in a more acoustic and folky arrangement than ‘Maybe’ but is equally catchy and even more lush with layers of vocal harmonies invoking echoes of past lives. Bineal’s multi- instrumentalism is on display with mandolin and glockenspiel parts and a beautiful guest vocal by Munia (often featured on works by Sydney MC, Saif) helps to give the song a mystical and feminine touch. ‘Olden Eyes’ will also feature in an exciting and innovative music video produced by the same team behind ‘The Pool’, a short film selected for Japan’s top short film festival.
‘Olden Eyes’ was also given a soft launch at a Songs x Sunset event in Lolly Loft Studio, Surry Hills on the 27th of May with Bineal playing two acoustic sets to a great reception with a crowd of 50 people. Songs x Sunset is a Sydney based collective (of which Bineal is a founder and organiser) organising acoustic nights with a focus on giving opportunities to artists with minority backgrounds, whether that be based on ethnicity, sexuality or even age.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.

I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
