Already well established as one of Australia’s most respected and premier pop successes, Amy Shark is set to earn herself even more fans with her latest release ‘Can I Shower At Yours’.
‘Can I Shower At Yours’ is an explosive 1 minute 54 second whirlwind release from Shark that see’s her exploring a new kinetic sonic realm, taking listeners through the electric feelings that come with the early stages of a new relationship.

Written solely by Amy, ‘Can I Shower At Yours’ was produced with long time collaborator Dann Hume. “’Can I Shower At Yours’ is about that moment in the beginning stages of meeting someone when your mind runs away from you and you let the butterflies in your stomach take over” explains Amy. “It’s about letting your guard down, looking a little pathetic and giving in to vulnerability.”
Accompanying the dynamic single is the official music video which features familiar faces Froomes and Harry Holland, alongside Shark. Shot entirely on Google’s Pixel 7 Pro phone in Sydney, the video brings to life the creative vision of Amy and acclaimed director Mitch Green.
2023 has already been a mammoth year for Amy, making her debut as a judge on the highly anticipated re-launch of Australian Idol. With a 2023 US tour run already under her belt, a string of Australian festivals already complete, and a Logie Nomination this week, Amy’s showing no signs of slowing down, also announced to support Coldplay on their sold out Australian stadium shows.
