Building a name for himself as one of Australia’s most exciting newcomers in the pop world, Melbourne/Naarm based singer-songwriter ISHAN, today releases his infectious pop single ‘Cardboard Box Apartment’. The young musician, of Australian/Indian/Swiss/
The new single is a personal tale exploring the exciting first steps taken as a young couple, ISHAN shares, “‘Cardboard Box Apartment’ is a fun love song about moving out together. My relationship felt like it was growing and I was excited, come what may, about taking the next step out into the world with someone who felt like my best friend.” Further announcing the release of this forthcoming debut EP, he shares “this song is the first single in a debut five song EP, the connected story of how my first relationship began, fell apart and challenged my sense of what it means to be in love. Welcome to The Cycle of Codependence.”
A prolific songwriter, ISHAN has penned more than 130 songs to date, having released only a small handful since early 2022. Quickly gaining traction with support across Rolling Stone Australia, Tone Deaf, Apple Music, The Nine Network and more, ISHAN has been earmarked as one to watch.
