Bromham’s ‘Jenny and Ian’ EP unfolds as a captivating narrative, with each song representing a chapter in the story of how Dave’s parents met and ultimately found their way back to each other. Each song is an intricately crafted piece that reflects the profound moments and emotions that shaped the journey. With their signature blend of folk, roots, and captivating harmonies, Bromham invites listeners into a world where love, resilience, and the beauty of human connection take center stage. The three enchanting tracks featured in the triple single release include:
‘Chapter 1: What kind of youth worker wears a tie?’ – Set in Gosford, NSW, in 1980, this song humorously captures the first encounter between Jenny and Ian. Through delightful lyrics and infectious melodies, it vividly portrays the initial bewilderment and undeniable chemistry that sparked between them.
‘Chapter 2: Grieving on both sides’ – The story takes an unexpected turn as Jenny and Ian face a challenging period in their lives. This emotionally charged track delves into the profound struggle they endured when Ian suffered a stroke and Jenny experienced a heartbreaking miscarriage. It’s a powerful testament to their resilience and unwavering love.
‘Chapter 3: The girl from her dream’ – A testament to the triumph of love and hope, this song tells the heart warming tale of Jenny’s dream, a premonition of their daughter with distinct features. Through poetic lyrics and soulful melodies, Bromham beautifully illustrates the miracle that occurred when their dreams became reality.

Dave (founder) shares how the band’s name came about and what it means to be a part of the musical community they have created.
“The name Bromham is my mum’s maiden name. Mum and her sisters married and myself and all my cousins ended up with our fathers last names, so this was a way for us to keep the name going and now to all of us in the band Bromham has come to mean family too which is nice.
We love to tell stories of things that we think make life beautiful, mostly family and friends. Some stories are heartbreakingly beautiful and others are simple and joyous in their beauty. And the feedback that we get is that our audiences can see and hear that genuine joy for our music and stories and that makes it all the more worthwhile.“
‘Jenny and Ian’ EP is available on all major music platforms now. Listeners can expect an experience that transcends genres, resonates with their own stories, and leaves an indelible mark on their hearts.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
