Thirty Second to Mars were up for an MTV Award for Best Alternative with their chart-topping single Stuck this week. The song hit #1 on the Alternative radio chart after fourteen weeks of airplay, marking the fastest chart climb of the band’s career and is on track to surpass 50 million streams globally since its release. Both Jared and Shannon Leto also presented at the awards.
It’s The End Of The World But It’s A Beautiful Day is a triumphant new musical offering from Thirty Seconds To Mars, which Jared Leto co-founded with his brother Shannon and has been driven by their intuitive creative interplay ever since. The siblings wrote hundreds of new songs over the last several years and specifically carved out these ten for the album, inspired by the gamut of emotions and experiences through which they’ve navigated in the five years since the release of their chart-topping previous album, America.

It’s The End Of The World But It’s A Beautiful Day is focused and concise, with no songs longer than three-and-a-half minutes and an emphasis on Jared’s emotive, straight-from-the-heart vocals. The group explores new feelings and colors while taking solace in the elemental: love, seizing the moment, heartbreak, and transcendence.
“If you’d have asked me when I was a kid if I’d release a single album, I would have told you you were crazy,” Jared says. “I’m an art school dropout but I was a musician first. In fact, there’ve been these funny times in my life when I was just a musician and didn’t make a film for six years. Now, it seems to have all come full circle.”
Previously released songs from the album, Life is Beautiful, Get Up Kid, Seasons and World On Fire gave fans an inside look to the new music and a preview of what the full album would entail. The band has grown tremendously as artists since they first began releasing music over two decades ago. The evolution of their music, both lyrically and rhythmically, pushes new boundaries to deliver a rich and dynamic sound.
Leading up to album release, the band headlined two sold out official Lollapalooza Aftershows at Chicago’s House of Blues and made their eagerly-awaited return to the festival’s main stage for the first time since 2006. Forbes called their performance a “visual spectacle” with “an entrance that will be hard to top,” in reference to Jared jumping from the roof of the stage to start the set. Thirty Seconds To Mars will continue to appear on music’s biggest stages including Austin City Limits, When We Were Young Festival and Mexico City’s Corona Capital.

AMNPLIFY – ML
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
