Australian punk prodigy, LOLA, are set to release their EP, GET RICH OR TRY DYING, on October 20, 2023.

GET RICH OR TRY DYING reflects upon the modern rat race and explores the contemporary struggle for success in a world where only the rich seem to prosper. The EP’s artwork (created by Anty from The Bennies) subtly mirrors this concept and offers a thought-provoking visual representation.

A long way from their roots as a party band, GET RICH OR TRY DYING marks a significant departure from LOLA’s earlier work. Offering a diverse soundscape, each track maintains an energy that is sure to resonate with LOLA’s devoted fan base and newcomers alike. Expect a rollercoaster ride of influences, including elements reminiscent of Frenzal Rhomb and The Clash, creating a sound that is unmistakably LOLA.

GET RICH OR TRY DYING has already received attention with the release of singles BillionaireBATSHIT, and Game Over, which have been featured on Spotify editorials such as ‘New Punk’, ‘Fresh Finds AU & NZ’ and shared by the Punk Rock Museum (Las Vegas). ‘Game Over’ also made its mark on Rage, earning the coveted ‘Wild One’ feature video slot.

Following their successful debut European tour, LOLA is returning to home soil for a national tour to support GET RICH OR TRY DYING. Punters can expect a chaotic live experience as LOLA make their way through Melbourne, Mt Gambier, Wollongong, Sydney, and Adelaide throughout October, right after warming up with the Descendents.
