BILLY JOEL’s
first new song in 17 years
‘TURN THE LIGHTS BACK ON’
released tomorrow,
Thursday 1 February,
at 11:00pm AEDTPERFORMING AT THE GRAMMYS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 22 YEARS NEXT WEEK
Billy Joel’s ‘Turn the Lights Back On’ will be released tomorrow Thursday 1 February at 11.00PM AEDT across DSPs – listen HERE tomorrow.
The song was announced last week on Billy’s socials (and HERE) and will be accompanied by a lyric video on release HERE.
Last week, Billy also announced he will perform at the Grammy Awards for the first time in 22 years. Joel last performed at the Grammys in 2002, taking the stage with Tony Bennett to duet ‘New York State of Mind’. The song, recorded for Bennett’s 2001 album Playin’ with My Friends: Bennett Sings the Blues, was nominated that year for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.
