Having just landed at #14 on triple j’s 2023 Hottest 100 for her collaboration with acclaimed DJ Fisher on ‘Atmosphere’, today, rising star Kita Alexander returns with her irresistible new pop single ‘All Night’ featuring UK artist LAUREL.

Of the special collaboration, Kita shares, “I honestly feel so privileged that LAUREL wanted to come into the studio with me on one of her only days off during her Aussie tour. We’ve always been fans of each other’s music, so to meet for the first time while writing together was really cute.”

An ode to friendship, Kita continues, “This song is about having that one friend who is always there for you and can pull you out of dark places. We really play on this sentiment as we alternate line for line in the chorus. On the first listen back we realised our voices actually have a really similar tone, but if you focus you can definitely differentiate us as we tag team the lyrics.”

LAUREL adds, “I have been a huge fan of Kita for a long time so it is such a dream to collaborate. This track is so summery and playful, it’s actually my first duet. The chorus gives me a real spice girls vibe as we’re singing about leaning on our friends. It came about really naturally when I popped into one of Kita’s sessions, in the middle of my Australian tour. We only had 4 hours but the song kind of fell out of us really quickly! They’re always the best ones.”

Today’s new offering will feature on Kita Alexander’s highly awaited debut album YOUNG IN LOVE out March 22, 2024 via Warner Music Australia. The ten-track debut will also lift Kita’s commanding pop single ‘Best You Ever Had’, the heart-warming ballad ‘Date Night’ featuring country superstar Morgan Evans, as well as the introspective ‘7 Minutes In Heaven’ and dance-floor ready empowerment anthem ‘Queen’.

Written in one month in her hometown of Byron Bay, the forthcoming album chronicles the peaks and troughs of Kita Alexander’s twenty-seven years – from falling in love, to facing unfathomable hardships to experiencing motherhood. To celebrate the new album, Kita will embark on a six-date Australian tour scheduled for April, 2024. The YOUNG IN LOVE National Tour presented by triple j will see Kita will deliver her dynamic and captivating live show in in Perth at the Rosemount Hotel on April 12, in Adelaide at The Jive on April 13 before returning to Brisbane for a hometown show at The Zoo on April 19, ahead of performing in Sydney at The Oxford Art Factory on April 20, Melbourne at The Corner Hotel on April 26 and in Canberra at The Hub on April 27. Today, Kita announces that Jem Cassar-Daley and San Joseph will join the YOUNG IN LOVE National Tour as tour supports. The forthcoming album follows a momentous 2023 for Kita Alexander.
