GZA

GZA + THE PHUNKY NOMADS

Welcoming one of the biggest names in hip-hop, GZA, as he brings the Liquid Swords Live Australian Tour down under this May alongside full live band The Phunky Nomads.

‘Pure genius’ – The Guardian

‘GZA still has a passion for wordplay… 1995 debut, Liquid Swords, is arguably Wu-Tang’s finest hour’ – Pitchfork

Thrust into the thick of hip-hop at a young age, it is no wonder GZA rose to fame as one of the most promising rappers of this generation.

A member of history-making, hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan, GZA also saw success as a solo artist, becoming the only member to release a solo album prior to the group’s formation. His critically acclaimed 1995 album Liquid Swords went on to become platinum certified after peaking #9 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Breaking the boundaries of hip-hop, the rapper and talented wordsmith continued to create projects that shook up the hip-hop scene and continued to release tracks which fans know and love today.

Maintaining his prestigious position in the industry decades on, don’t miss the lyrical mastermind himself, GZA and his live band The Phunky Nomads as they return down under this May.

KENYA GRACE

‘A sound resonating with a new generation of Brits… Kenya Grace brings the drum ‘n’ bass genre to a global audience with their Gen-Z twist’ – Vogue

‘Strangers’ marks a sort of belated pop breakthrough moment for drum’n’bass” – Billboard

Kicking off what promises to be an unforgettable year for the South African-born, British singer and producer Kenya Grace is headed our way for the first time.

Kenya’s first visit to our shores follows the huge global success of her viral smash hit ‘Strangers’ – a song that first originated in her bedroom, before eventually soaring to the number one spot on the UK charts in October 2023 and, most recently, landing a BRIT nomination for Song Of The Year. As only the second female artist in history to top the UK singles chart – alongside Kate Bush – to achieve this feat as a sole writer, producer, and performer, it’s a heady start to the young performer, while in the USA ‘Strangers’ sat at #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart for five straight weeks.

In 2023, Kenya sold out venues across the UK, Europe, and North America, with demand for shows proving so overwhelming extra dates were quickly added. A global phenomenon with over 2 billion views and 135 million global streams, her follow-up singles ‘Only In My Mind’ and ‘Paris’ were equally as impressive, earning millions of plays and further solidifying her stature alongside Kenya’s magnetic stage presence.

Igniting her biggest, boldest, and brightest chapter yet in 2024, don’t miss Kenya Grace performing live on stage this Autumn.

STEPHEN SANCHEZ

STEPHEN SANCHEZ

‘In Stephen Sanchez, raw talent arises, and his future promises monumental success. If his name wasn’t on your radar before, it certainly is now’ – Spill Magazine

Following a hugely successful debut Australian tour in 2023 with multiple sold out dates, viral superstar, Stephen Sanchez makes his anticipated return down under, less than 12 months after his show-stopping last visit.

The release of his global hit ‘Until I Found You’ saw the world embrace the swoon-worthy artist. Barely in his twenties, the singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer has already enchanted audiences around the world, with the track reaching multi-platinum status, vaulting into the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 25, hitting No.8 on the ARIA Chart and generating more than 2 billion streams. Heavily influenced by music of the 1950’s and 60’s, Stephen’s stunning catalogue of songs is nostalgic for a time gone by.

Following his much talked-about performances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show with James Corden – even an invitation to join Elton John on his final show headlining Glastonbury 2023 – and successive sold-out headline tours, Stephen released his second album, Angel Face last year. A tale-telling project, taking listeners on a journey through fictional 1958 musician The Troubadour Sanchez, Stephen treated fans to sneak peeks of the album on his last visit. Now in 2024, the singer-songwriter will return to perform the perfectly curated sing-along hits fans know and love.

A live spectacle with impeccable vocals, don’t miss Stephen Sanchez as he returns to Australia this April and May.

THE BEACHES

THE BEACHES

With their effortlessly cool viral hit ‘Blame Brett’ landing in countless ‘2023 Best Of’ lists, Toronto four-piece The Beaches are a musical force to be reckoned with, a testament to the power of sisterhood and friendship… How could you not be obsessed?

Having opened for the likes of The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Passion Pit and more, the band will be heading down under for a series of headline shows.

After more than a decade together as a band, sisters Jordan Miller (lead vocals, bass) and Kylie Miller (guitar), plus closest friends Leandra Earl (guitar and keys) and Eliza Enman-McDaniel (drums), are entering a bold new era… as witnessed on their acclaimed release, Blame My Ex.

‘Down-to-earth, refreshingly honest, and effortlessly cool’ – RANGE

‘…packed wall-to-wall and the show proves itself worth the wait. The Beaches bring a hearty dose of girl band poise mixed with rock sleaze’ – Line Of Best Fit

Their latest album earned the Toronto band more than 30 million streams on Spotify and more than 10 million views on TikTok with their winsome lead single ‘Blame Brett’. The acerbic pop-rock knockout track was immediately championed by media worldwide and became a viral hit upon release.

The breakout song helped see the band sell out multiple shows on the first leg of their Blame My Ex Tour in October-December 2023, when they hit the road across the UK, USA and Canada.

With 2024 set to be a huge year for the girls, who have pencilled in sets at Bonnaroo, Hangout, Rock Werchter, and BottleRock festivals, don’t miss The Beaches when they hit the stage this May.
