The result of 2 best friends getting together every Sunday turned into an incredibly creative and intriguing musical project titled The Shoplifiting Doctor. Formed from David Wood (songwriter/artist) and Michael “Gnome” Ross (collaborator/mentor), the 2 have come together and created a world centred around the duo. We get our first date into The Shoplifting Doctor world with the release of “Heads Down” on February 23.The video is due for release on March 14.

The track was recorded at David’s Home Studio, providing production for it as well. the song was later mixed by Bob Scott and mastering was later provided by Steve Smart. Evan Mannell helped with the drums and Richard Brancatisano with guitar.
David describes the track as, “Heads Down is a commentary on the all pervasive social impact that digital devices have on our lives – impacting relationships on all levels.”

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.

I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
