release their new video
for their debut single
‘HEADS DOWN’The result of 2 best friends getting together every Sunday turned into an incredibly creative and intriguing musical project titled The Shoplifiting Doctor. Formed from David Wood (songwriter/artist) and Michael “Gnome” Ross (collaborator/mentor), the 2 have come together and created a world centred around the duo. We get our first date into The Shoplifting Doctor world with the release of “Heads Down” on February 23.The video is due for release on March 14.
The track was recorded at David’s Home Studio, providing production for it as well. the song was later mixed by Bob Scott and mastering was later provided by Steve Smart. Evan Mannell helped with the drums and Richard Brancatisano with guitar.
David describes the track as, “Heads Down is a commentary on the all pervasive social impact that digital devices have on our lives – impacting relationships on all levels.”
