In the dynamic music scene of 2024, Phoebe and Axon Bower, key players in Jersey’s musical landscape, come together for an exciting collaboration. Phoebe, renowned for her authentic storytelling and soulful melodies, draws inspiration from Lily Allen, Jorja Smith, and Billie Eilish. Her track “Listen” gained Radio One airplay, paving the way for hits like “Rehab” and “The Ick Factor.” Following a stellar performance on Electric Park’s main stage and continuing her musical journey along the Australian East Coast, Phoebe remains committed to crafting fresh narratives.
Axon Bower, aka David Keenan, showcases a dynamic sound influenced by Jack White, Jamie T, Jeff Buckley, and Mac De Marco. Awarded the BBC Introducing ‘Local Hero’ Aim Award in 2022 for contributions to Jersey’s music scene through Songwriters Society, Axon has left an enduring impact. With performances spanning the UK, Europe, America, and Asia, Axon’s trajectory promises continued success in 2024. As he embarks on an Australian road trip alongside Phoebe, this dynamic duo is set to create captivating new music, fusing their distinctive sounds into an unforgettable collaboration.

They released their debut single together, “Bus”, which came out on February 23. The pair describe the track as, ““Bus is a sombre and heartfelt social observation of the loops we can all become trapped in. The bus representing that journey we choose but are not necessarily in control of. The first collaboration track from two very different but unique artists.”

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
