Brooklyn-born songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Iniko is venturing to Australia in July as part of their Awakening World Tour. Set to visit Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, Iniko is bringing their unique brand of alternative soul down under for the first time.
Fusing influences from trap, rock, dancehall and soul, Iniko bridges the gap between dimensions and borders with their ethereal sound. First appearing on the music scene in 2018, Iniko has now amassed a TikTok following of over 4 million. Their 2022 track “The King’s Affirmation” went viral on TikTok followed by 2023’s “Jericho” which currently sits at 125 million Spotify streams and is certified Gold in Australia. “Jericho” landed Iniko a nomination for Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist at the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards as well as their debut in the Billboard charts.

Launched into the spotlight by their viral success, Iniko is leading an experimental soul revolution with their cosmic sound. As a proud non-binary artist, Iniko uses music to stand for the queer community as well as tackling topics like anxiety, romance, and philosophy. Currently in the midst of working on a new album, Iniko shared, “My new music’s not just about who I am. It’s about who we all are and who we would like to be. Right now, where I am is the freest I’ve ever felt.”
