Australian Tour

Indo Warehouse, the New York based collective, record label & experiential series have announced their first ever tour to Australia this June. Together with Untitled Group, the rising global collective will be bringing their individual, authentic sounds to Meanjin/Brisbane, Eora/Sydney & Naarm/Melbourne this June.
Founded in 2022, label heads Kahani & Kunal Merchant have fostered a movement integrating their South Asian heritage, culture & music into electronic music dubbing their distinct sound ‘Indo House’ (a sub genre similar to Latin house or Afro house). The collective have propelled themselves into high demand since their arrival on the global dance music scene by creating a sense of community & connection within their live performances all while pushing the sonic boundaries of dance music.
2023 saw Indo Warehouse complete an 11 date sold out North American tour, a packed out homecoming show of 4500 at The Brooklyn Mirage, & a sold out debut show at London’s Outernet with over 2000 in attendance. To top it off, Indo Warehouse made their mark for the first time at the globally recognised ADE Festival in Amsterdam.
Having recently completed an epic 10 city India tour earlier this year, label heads Kahani & Kunal Merchant will be spearheading this lineup. Their DJ sets present a hypnotic sound that encompasses a wide range of house and techno influences, while seamlessly weaving in South Asian textures ranging from nostalgic vocals to pulsing rhythms. You may hear Bollywood, Classical Indian, Qawali and folk samples woven into 124-128 bpm grooves, but each night of this tour promises to be completely unique.
The tour commences on Thursday 27th June in Brisbane with Felons Barrel Hall ready to be transformed for the evening. Sydney’s Liberty Hall is the next stop on Friday 28th June & finally Northcote Theatre’s picturesque interior will house Indo Warehouse on Saturday 29th June.
