Recorded & produced by Nick DiDia (Pearl Jam, Powderfinger, Bruce Springsteen) and mixed by Konstantin Kersting (Tones and I, Milky Chance, Mallrat, Spacey Jane, Amy Shark), the latest single starts with a driving beat that lifts in to a soaring chorus, reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac or the soundtrack from TV series Daisy Jones & The Six.
Commenting on the single, “Reverie is based on a short-lived, long-distance relationship. The feeling where you meet someone, fall in love really fast and you feel immersed in a pleasant sate of daydream. As the song progresses, the daydreams take a darker turn. The couple don’t see each other so much, maybe they didn’t know each other the way they thought they did, but they keep going back to what they had in that moment together. Reverie keeps returning to the phrase ‘I don’t know’ as there is no end to their story yet.”
To coincide with the release the band have shared the visuals for the new single; their own modern take on Alice in Wonderland.

Drawing inspiration from The Beatles ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ video, singer & guitarist Abby explains, “We wanted to do something otherworldly and a little dark to represent the feeling you get from Reverie. We went into a forest one afternoon with a camera and our very talented Dad filmed & edited the clip. We had a lot of fun experimenting with weird shots and characters. We ended the shoot with a big tea party we set up in Jaymi’s backyard.
We wanted it to be unknown whether the dreamlike state of the video was a good or bad dream. This ties into the complex love story of ‘Reverie’.”
After touring throughout Europe, UK & North America in 2023, the band are back on Australian soil, and ready to perform to local audiences. Fans can check out the latest single live with upcoming shows in Sydney and Newcastle supporting The Pierce Brothers. Tickets available here
While their layered vocals draw inspiration from the sibling charms of First Aid Kit and The Staves, the trio’s direct and often epic songs land them in a space of their very own.
Recently that sound captured the attention of esteemed NY indie label Glassnote Records who promptly signed them to a roster that includes some of Little Quirks’ own major influences in Mumford & Sons and AURORA.
With a DIY mindset that would rival any act – the band make all their own recordings, videos, stage costumes, artwork and merch – Little Quirks are a breath of fresh, unbridled and joyful air that is determined to keep the music fun. Just try and stop them.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
