With their biggest headline tour yet just around the corner, Australian pop punk outfit Between You & Me are excited to share their highly anticipated new EP SH!T YEAH, out today. Stream HERE.

As their first independent body of work since their sophomore album Armageddon and parting ways with their record label, the band felt the pressure to create something special. “‘SH!T YEAH’ has become a phrase synonymous with the BYAM family,” the band reveal. “A war cry for every little win in our camp, moving us forward and making us stronger as a unit. This EP is a culmination of us believing in ourselves to achieve the goals we have dreamed of, but also having the most fun on our own journey. The audacious title sets the tone for the EP. There are no bounds for creativity, and this is us writing our own story.”

Tucking themselves away in an AirBnb in regional Victoria with friend and producer Jack Newlyn (Paradise Club) and Canadian producer Sam Guaina (Armageddon – 2021), Between You & Me began workshopping and recording the EP over three weeks. “What came of the recording time was 6 diverse songs that we are collectively proud of. Some of the songs have deeply personal themes, whilst others have fictional narratives and light-hearted tales. These songs mean everything, and they also mean nothing. All our journeys are different, so take these songs how you feel them. SHIT YEAH!”

Next month the band will head out on a five-date national tour in support of the new collection, with shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, and Brisbane. The tour, supported by Adelaide duo TOWNS, is proudly presented by  triple j, Capital Artist Group, and Select Music. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased HERE.

2024 has been a non-stop series of highs for Between You & Me, kicking off with debut headline tours in the UK and USA where they sold out multiple dates, including London’s iconic Underworld. Their first release of the year, “In The Middle”, landed during their international stint and quickly proved itself to be an instant classic in the band’s much loved discography, clocking their most first week streams yet. The single received a first play on triple j’s Drive program, and was added to full rotation at the station shortly after release alongside an addition to Kerrang! Radio and support from the likes of Music Feeds, The Music, Tone Deaf, Wall Of Sound, Rock Sound, Ones To Watch, and many more.

SH!T YEAH is the culmination of an incredible couple of years for Between You & Me. Following the release of their second independent single “YEAH!” late last year, Between You & Me made a strong impression with their triple j Like A Version debut, opting for a nostalgic crowd pleaser in Smash Mouth’s global hit and Shrek soundtrack favourite “All Star” – watch HERE. Their first independent single “Nevermind” (Feb 2023) clocked immediate support from triple j, and arrived ahead of a massive stint in the USA supporting Knuckle Puck and Real Friends, followed by two Australian tours upon their return, where they supported Slowly Slowly and You Me At Six.

In 2021, Between You & Me’s acclaimed record Armageddon (Hopeless Records) took the band to new heights, featuring hit singles “Deadbeat”, “Butterflies”, “Change” and “Go To Hell” ft. Mikaila Delgado of Yours Truly. The electrifying 10-track record landed as triple j’s Spotlight Album on release, and has since clocked up over 15 million global streams.
