In a captivating prelude to his much-anticipated debut EP, AKA Lui unveils his latest single, ‘Fool’, a heartfelt exploration of the lengths we will go to for love. Alongside this release, AKA Lui excitedly announces the forthcoming launch of his debut EP, ‘Sapphire Blue’, out on June 21st.

‘Fool’ delves into the emotional turmoil of being blinded by love, embodying the confusion and desperation of trying to mold oneself to fit the desires of another. Through potent lyrics and a soul-stirring melody, AKA Lui captures the essence of striving to be perfect for someone, only to lose oneself in the process. “Yeah I was a fool for trying to be right for you,” he confesses, encapsulating the heartache of unreciprocated effort and the quest for clarity within the chaos. Fool invites listeners to ponder their own experiences of love’s labyrinth, questioning the lines between compromise and self-sacrifice.

With unique, cutting guitar rhythms, playful instrumentation and AKA Lui’s heartfelt vocal delivery, ‘Fool’ opens the door for the journey that ‘Sapphire Blue’ promises to be. Conceived amidst personal upheaval and transformation, the upcoming EP is a voyage through the tempests of the heart.

The announcement of ‘Sapphire Blue’ alongside the release of ‘Fool’ signals a new chapter for AKA Lui, showcasing his evolution as an artist and storyteller. Curiously conceptual in nature, ‘Sapphire Blue’ is inspired by loss, resilience, and the search for solace in a chaotic world.
