KICKS OFF TONIGHT IN TORQUAY
Today JET have released the exclusive 7” single Hurry Hurry (Australian Tour Edition). The B-side is a song called Un’avventura, a cover of a cover: Wilson Pickett’s version of Un’avventura performed by Lucio Battisti at the 1969 Sanremo Music Festival. It’s sung in half Italian/half English reflecting front man Nic Cester’s time spent living in Italy over the last 15 years.
These 7” vinyls are extremely limited and will be available at each show on the GET BORN: 20TH ANNIVERSARY EXTENDED EDITION Australian tour, with a small number of coloured vinyl available via www.jetofficial.com from today through Impressed Recordings – available to purchase until sold out.
Both Hurry Hurry and Un’avventura will be available via streaming services in the near future, with the band also revealing that they have commenced work on a new album, set for release in 2025, their first studio album in more than 15 years.
JET recently announced shows in the US in October – New York’s Bowery Ballroom, Basement East, Nashville and Troubadour in LA, with tickets snapped up within minutes of on-sale by excited US fans.
JET’s Australian tour kicks off tonight in Torquay with 2 sold out shows, before heading off around the country across the next 4 weeks. Be quick to secure tickets as shows continue to sell out.
