The multi-platinum global superstar reups his acclaimed full-length debut album, THE FIRST TIME, with a brand new DELUXE VERSION.
Among the new material, LAROI delivers a sequel to the viral fan favourite ‘NIGHTS LIKE THIS’ in the form of the single ‘NIGHTS LIKE THIS PT 2’. He hinted at the arrival of the latter by dropping a snippet on TikTok, attracting over 2 million views for the preview in advance. On the track, his warm vocals echo through icy synths practically melting the beat as he wrestles with feelings of abandonment, “I still can’t believe you took off from me when you knew I needed you most.”
Speaking to his versatility, LAROI bridges the gap between styles and eras by sampling Player’s ‘Baby Come Back’ on the soulful and spirited ‘BABY I’M BACK’ and PM Dawn’s ‘Set Adrift on Memory Bliss’ during ‘STICK WITH ME’. Elsewhere, LAROI locks into a hypnotic flow on the previously previewed fan favorite ‘Pick Sides’, while Lil Yachty elevates ‘HATRED’ with his signature spark.
