Grammy and ARIA-nominated DJ and producer FISHER, and legendary British MC Flowdan link up for energetic new single ‘Boost Up’. Teased in FISHER’s latest sets ‘Boost Up’ follows FISHER’s biggest year with his Coachella performance alongside Chris Lake, massive ARIA platinum single ‘Atmosphere’ and ‘Take It Off’ with AATIG with both totalling 200m streams and reached #1 and #2 on Beatport respectively. Flowdan, now the first British MC to ever win a Grammy, adds ‘Boost Up’ to his iconic discography. The godfather of grime continues his dance/electronic path, following 2023 mega hit ‘Rumble’ with Skrillex and Fred Again, with his baritone growl being the perfect match for the Aussie producer.

FISHER:

Australian tech-house producer Paul Fisher (aka FISHER) brings a sense of carefree fun to his productions, which strip away pretences to focus on serving the dancefloor. He came to the public’s attention in 2018 with his brassy single “Losing It,” which was certified platinum in his home country and was nominated for a Grammy. The follow-up “You Little Beauty” was also a success, and Fisher continued releasing upbeat club material such as 2021’s “Just Feels Tight.”

Fisher was born and raised on the Gold Coast of Australia, where he pursued a career as a professional surfer for many years. The lifestyle came with its fair share of parties, incentivizing Fisher to take up DJing in 2005, although it wouldn’t be until 2011 that he turned his hand to production. His initial tracks were released as part of  alongside fellow producer and surfer Leigh Sedley. Fisher eventually went solo in 2017, going on to issue a string of singles such as “Ya Kidding,” “Stop It,” and “Ya Didn’t,” all on . In 2018, he released his breakout track, “Losing It,” this time via . The song went to number one on the Australian and American club charts, and was certified gold or platinum in Australia, Italy, Germany, and the U.K. It was also nominated for Best Dance Recording at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.

Fisher followed the success of “Losing It” with the -sampling “You Little Beauty,” which similarly topped club charts and was nominated for an ARIA Music Award. Fast-forward to 2024, FISHER continues to take his electrifying live sets across the globe including his Out 2 Lunch festival on the Gold Coast where he played to 30,000 fans, his iconic HI IBIZA Summer residency, taking out the AIR Award for Dance/Electronica or Club release and huge collaborations with artists like Jennifer Lopez and Marlon Hoffstadt.

Flowdan, the first British MC to be win a Grammy is an iconic figure of British urban music, and has undeniably left his mark on the scene throughout his impressive career, spanning over two decades this East London MC has emerged as one of the most recognisable and respected voices in electronic music, solidifying his status as a certified cult figure.

Flowdan’s rise to prominence began with his involvement in the garage collective Pay As U Go, and he later became a founding member of grime pioneers, Roll Deep. From there, his trajectory as an artist soared, with critical acclaim following closely behind. In late 2007, he made his mark with a captivating appearance on the iconic track ‘Skeng,’ a digi-dancehall masterpiece by The Bug featuring Killa P. This sonic gem became a sub-destroying dubstep anthem and was released by the esteemed urban dance label, Hyperdub.

The Original Dan has graced stages across the globe, captivating audiences at festivals and club nights with his exceptional live performances.

Early 2023 witnessed the culmination of months of escalating feverish hype as Flowdan unleashed his highly anticipated track ‘Rumble’ alongside production royalty Skrillex & Fred again… This explosive anthem gripped the world with its earth-shattering energy and equally powerful vocals, propelling Flowdan to unprecedented heights. It soared up the charts globally and found its way into the playlists of prominent figures like the England football team.
