The EP features four brand new tracks alongside his previously released chart-topping single, ‘Fall At Your Feet,’ a collaboration with fellow Australian singer-songwriter Dean Lewis. ‘From Down Under’ is a sonic journey through the heart and soul of CYRIL’s musical evolution. This debut EP is a captivating tapestry woven with threads of nostalgia, innovation, and raw talent.
Three of the tracks are reimagined classics, the first coming in the form of ‘True’ with Kita Alexander, which gives the original Spandau Ballet track a fresh and contemporary twist. Then there’s the infectiously catchy ‘The Power of Love,’ which CYRIL infused with euphonious beats for an organic house gem. ‘Somebody Else’ rounds out the trio with its energetic rendition of the original, perfect for that night out with friends. Perhaps the shining star of the EP is CYRIL’s ‘Way Down Low,’ which introduces a fresh perspective on country-infused electronic music with both ample groove and emotional depth. What started for CYRIL with his breakthrough single ‘Stumblin’ In’ in 2023 still gracefully continues with ‘From Down Under’ EP.

CYRIL is the Aussie-born artist behind two of the world’s hottest records at the moment, ‘Stumblin’ In’ and his remix of Grammy-nominated artist Disturbed’s ‘The Sound of Silence.’ Born and raised in the countryside of regional Australia and now based in Darwin, CYRIL, the producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist on guitar, piano, and drums, experienced a challenging journey from teenager to adult. He dealt with personal issues and turmoil, causing him to abandon his musical aspirations at times. However, one thing remained true: he always kept his laptop and guitar close to him, keeping the dream alive and constantly refining his craft. His biggest moment thus far came in late 2023 with the release of “Stumblin’ In,” which initially exploded on TikTok before dominating the worlds of streaming and radio. It became the #1 most played song on air in countries like Germany, Poland, Australia, New Zealand, and more, as well as covering some of Spotify and Apple’s biggest playlists. With a trajectory as clear as it is limitless, expect to hear a lot more from CYRIL in 2024 and beyond.
