Tors have become renowned for their catchy hooks and viral videos of their stunning vocal harmonies lighting up everything from festival stages to charming churches and countryside scenes.

Off the back of their recent performance at Glastonbury and the release of their debut Miracle EP, Tors give us another epic song to sing-a-long to in ‘Never Give Up’, which encapsulates their signature soaring melodies while also being the most pop-leaning of their releases to date. The single was made with Simone Felice (The Lumineers, Vance Joy) and continues the band’s ongoing collaboration with the legendary producer.

‘Never Give Up’ is both a tribute to Matt and Theo Weedon’s Father as well as their fans, with the brothers explaining “Never Give Up’ is a song inspired by our Dad who’s always encouraged us to follow our dreams and turn our art into a living. Our resilience and ability to take every knock, tumble and obstacle in our stride are because of him. In the song, we’ve chronicled our journey through both music and life, while also acknowledging anyone else struggling through their days but refusing to give in. It’s one of our most upbeat releases to date in both lyrical and musical content and it’s our personal message of hope and solidarity to everyone fighting for their passions.”

Tors accomplished musicianship must be in the genes: brothers Matt and Theo Weedon are the grandchildren of ‘Play In A Day’ guitar legend Burt Weedon OBE, while Jack Bowden’s mother and sister are both music teachers.

In 2023, Tors enjoy their first plays on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2 and perform at BBC Maida Vale studios for BBC Introducing, as well as sell out their first UK headline tour, play a sold-out headline show in New York, tour Europe with Lime Cordiale and play a European arena tour in support of James Blunt.

Following that breakout year, Tors have sold out more shows in the UK, USA & EU, performed to over 350K people, gained 700K social media followers and reached over 50M views across their viral live performance videos this year.

The band were handpicked by BBC1 to play at Glastonbury this year as part of BBC Introducing, the same slot that has hosted George Ezra, Ed Sheeran and Little Simz in the past. Plus they were invited to play at international festivals Bottlerock and Bonnaroo in the USA and at Pinkpop in the Netherlands.

Somehow in between touring, Tors have spent much of the summer working on new music at their studio HQ, a converted barn in Devon. ‘Never Give Up’ is the first taste of those sessions, with much more to come in the near future. The trio also recently released the summer track ‘If It Takes All Night’, which, like the Miracle EP, was recorded with Simone Felice.

As well as rapidly gaining fans around the world, they’ve also garnered the attention of local lads, The Rions, who, after forming a mutual appreciation for each other’s music online, recorded a version of one-another’s songs. Much to the delight of fans, The Rions’ performed a stunning version of Tors ‘Happy Enough’ and Tors gave us a harmony-led rendition of The Rions’ triple j’s Hottest 100 hit ‘Scary Movies’.

Tors now head off on another tour to play their gorgeous Miracle EP throughout Europe, including stops in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, Vienna, Zurich and more, while simultaneously writing songs for their upcoming second EP, ‘Never Give Up’.
