Sydney based Pop Punk artist Warwick Smith has just dropped his new single and music video called ‘Semi-Aquatic’, which premiered via AAA Backstage.
He has also announced that he will be playing a live show to celebrate his new release on Oct 19 at The Metro Social alongside Abbey Lane.

.
“I started working on Semi-Aquatic at a point where I felt frustrated and a little disheartened trying to work in music. I felt like I had to do things a very particular way and keep my messages and my branding extremely commercial and professional which was starting to get to me. The entire song is a reflection on my experience with making music vs releasing music.”
Warwick Smith is on a mission to revive the Emo culture for the youth of Australia with his dynamic blend of Pop Punk, Rock and Alt Pop. Rooted in emotional exploration, his music is leaving an indelible mark on the Alternative music scene and beyond. Warwick Smith is promising to be the voice of a new era of emotional expression.

Warwick debuted in 2022 and has since kept up a prolific rate of release. 2023 saw the release of his album called ‘Velvet’, which debuted at #5 on iTunes Alternative charts. Since his debut, the young songsmith has gained millions of streams on Spotify and has appeared on stage alongside the likes of Glass Animals and Waterparks.
New single ‘Semi-Aquatic’ is available on all major online stores and streaming services.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
