The Handpicked Festival will celebrate its tenth birthday in style, hosting its biggest line up yet, with Angus & Julia Stone, The Jungle Giants, Matt Corby, Pete Murray, The Dreggs, CYRIL, Coterie and Azure Ryder taking to the stage at Langhorne Creek’s Lake Breeze Wines on Saturday the 9th of November, 2024.

To the delight of fans, the iconic brother and sister duo reunited this year after seven years apart to record their new album, Cape Forestier.

“This iconic duo will enchant the crowd with their harmonious vocals and heartfelt lyrics, creating an intimate and emotive atmosphere on the lawns at Lake Breeze,” said Kate.

With over half a billion streams under their belt, indie-rock royalty, The Jungle Giants, will be making a return to Langhorne Creek.

Fresh from sell out shows across the United Kingdom, the band will be treating fans to infectious sounds from their four chart topping albums and latest single, “Trippin Up.”

It’s been seven years since multi-ARIA award winner, Matt Corby, enchanted crowds with his signature rasp and bright melodies.

Fresh from dropping his effortless new duet, Bricks with Meg Mac, Corby will treat fans to soulful tracks from his third album, “Everything’s Fine.”

“Matt Corby will captivate the audience with his soulful voice. We are so pumped to have him come back with us. He will no doubt deliver another truly unforgettable experience,” said Kate.

Fresh from celebrating the 20th anniversary of his breakthrough album, Feeler and, beloved singer songwriter, Pete Murray will treat festival goers to his catalogue of hits.

With seven albums under his belt, Pete became a household name with massive tracks like 2003’s, So Beautiful and 2005’s Better Days.

“With his smooth vocals and catchy tunes, Pete Murray will deliver a feel-good set that resonates with fans of all ages,” said Kate.

Sunshine Coast duo, The Dreggs, who are known for their live singalongs, will bring a slice of wholesome indie-folk to the stage.

Paddy Macrae and Zane Harris who grew up together in the sunshine with the ocean at their feet, have cultivated a devoted fanbase, selling over 15,000 tickets in Australia in the past 18 months. “After not being able to see The Dreggs perform with us during the freak storm, we couldn’t be more excited.

Without having favourites, my sister and I are almost in tears to know The Dreggs are coming back and bringing their coastal folk vibes to the stage,” said Kate.

Known for his signature bucket hat and viral TikTok tracks, CYRIL will get the crowd pumping with his breakthrough hit, “Stumblin’ In,” and his remix for Disturbed’s “The Sound Of Silence.”

The talented DJ and producer’s music is racking up 2 million streams a day with his breakthrough track becoming the number one played song on the air in Australia, New Zealand, Germany and Poland.

“CYRIL’s electrifying performance will bring an energetic set to the festival with his dynamic stage presence,” said Handpicked creator Kate Cooper.

Coterie will join Handpicked’s family affair, with the band spearheaded by four Maori brothers whose rich vocals are making an impact on the charts.

The records, made in their living room, have struck a chord with fans, with Coterie racking up four #1 singles in New Zealand, as well as their album charting number four in Australia.

“Coterie amaze us! They are four brothers—this definitely resonates as nearly everything we do at Handpicked and Lake Breeze is built upon our family. It’s incredible to know they are hitting our stage in November,” said Kate.

Touted by Vogue as one of the most exciting new faces in Australian music, Azure Ryder will grace Handpicked audiences with her ethereal songs and powerful vocals.

Azure, who grew up in Sydney’s north beaches, released her debut EP, Running With The Wolves in 2020 and her third EP, Ladder To The Moon in 2021.

“Azure Ryder’s ethereal voice and poignant songwriting will provide a beautiful musical experience to kick off the day right,” said Kate.

Surrounded by the beautiful vineyards of Lake Breeze, Handpicked is a complete sensory experience with award-winning wines, food trucks selling delicious local produce, a captivating cocktail forest, as well as a diverse range of local arts, crafts, jewellery and homewares at The Lane.

The family-run event puts its longevity down to its deep connection with the local community and its focus on the one-percenters.

Festival goers can keep the party going, by spending an affordable night amongst the vineyards at Tent City, with accommodation starting from $15 per person, or bring their campervans and caravans along for $60 per site.

The Handpicked Festival will kick off on Saturday November 9th at Lake Breeze Winery, Langhorne Creek.
