announces
2025 Tour

UK duo Maribou State bring their soul-infused electronic music back to Australia next February 2025 for a long-awaited series of live shows.
With a reputation for creating richly textured, atmospheric sounds, Maribou State emerged during an era when electronic music moved beyond dancefloor beats to evoke expansive, cinematic landscapes. Influenced by classic hip-hop, world music, soul, and downtempo house, their sound combines live musicianship with studio innovation.

Since debuting in 2011 with Portraits, Maribou State’s journey has included celebrated festival appearances at Glastonbury and sold-out shows across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Their 2018 album Kingdoms In Colour, a “sonic collage” drawing from global experiences and field recordings, further solidified their global presence.
Now, after a six-year hiatus, they return with Hallucinating Love, dropping on 31 January 2025. This new project features collaborators Holly Walker and Gaidaa, delivering a lush, mystical sound imbued with hope.
In 2025, Maribou State will bring their live show back to Australia and New Zealand. Possessing the unique skill of making their music feel alive, these dates give the rare opportunity for both new and old to experience a live act praised for its technicality and unique, intellectual sound on stage.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
