Emerging indie folk singer-songwriter, Autumn Sage, is thrilled to announce the release of her highly anticipated single, “Why?”, an evocative indie-folk track that confronts the emotional weight of life’s biggest regrets. With soaring vocals, delicate acoustic guitar, and a beautiful cello arrangement, the song is a heartfelt exploration of reflection and questioning the “what-ifs” of life.

To celebrate the release of “Why?”, Autumn Sage will be performing live at Four5Nine at the Rosemount Hotel on November 14th, 2024, at 7:30PM. The evening will feature supporting performances from Jamie Hall and Midnight Francine, creating a captivating night of indie folk music and raw emotional energy.
The intimate setting of the Four5Nine will provide the perfect backdrop for Autumn Sage’s soulful melodies, allowing her audience to connect with the vulnerable yet powerful themes of the new single. Autumn Sage is a Perth-based singer-songwriter whose alternative indie folk music, coupled with a poet’s heart, has invoked comparisons to Lior, Missy Higgins and Alanis Morrisette. Her poignant instrumentals and soaring melodies, paired with sincere and relatable lyrics, take the listener on an evocative emotional rollercoaster ride. Autumn was the opening act for Helen Shanahan’s “The Aeroplane” single launch, she has played at the North Fremantle Songwriter’s Club at Mojo’s in Fremantle, and is due to release her first single in November.
Originally from Melbourne, Autumn Sage trained as a classical pianist and self-taught guitarist. After roles in alternative bands and as a solo artist, she settled in Perth with her husband and six children. After taking time off to focus on parenting, she has returned to the stage as a cover artist, captivating audiences at venues across Perth, and now her passion for songwriting has reignited and she is looking forward to sharing her music with audiences around Perth and beyond.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
