Ahead of their return to our shores this month, fast-rising Boston-based trio Tiny Habits today unveil their highly anticipated new single ‘For Sale Sign’ feat. Lizzy McAlpine. It’s their first release since their highly acclaimed debut album All For Something this past May – which earned them the title of “my new favourite group” from NPR Music’s Ann Powers, along with praise from Teen Vogue, V Magazine, a global NME cover and more – and marks the third collaboration between Tiny Habits and Lizzy McAlpine. Stream/watch HERE.

‘For Sale Sign’ is a warm, wistful acoustic track about the space and memories that people leave behind when they leave this life and brings Tiny Habits’ expertly crafted harmonies to the forefront, overlaying an atmospheric and textural soundscape. On the single Tiny Habits say, “This song really gave us a new perspective on writing and challenged our storytelling. It has lived with us for a while now and we’d been hoping for the right time and circumstances to put it into the world. It means a lot to us and reminds us about how special life is and just how lucky we are to live it. We’re so happy to release it into the world and hope it can sweetly hold its listeners for just a few moments.”

Tiny Habits first performed with Lizzy McAlpine for her NPR Tiny Desk Concert in 2022, went on to feature on ‘Pushing it Down and Praying’ from McAlpine’s Older (and Wiser) deluxe release, and together they featured on JP Saxe’s track ‘Everything Ends’. In an interview with Tape Notes released last week, Lizzy McAlpine said of Tiny Habits: “I’m obsessed with them. They’re able to elicit some really complex emotions with the things they come up with.”

After touring so-called-Australia for the first time with Gracie Abrams this past January and featuring on her Like A Version, Tiny Habits headed out on their first-ever major headlining tour throughout North America and Europe. They had a prime slot during Lollapalooza, featured on Kacey Musgraves’ track ‘Perfection’, supported Vance Joy on his Dream Your Life Away anniversary shows across the US in September, as well as a run with Lake Street Dive, and later this month will return to our shores for a string of east coast headline dates (full details below).

Tiny Habits – Cinya Khan, Maya Rae and Judah Mayowa – formed in Boston 2022 while they were students at the Berklee College of Music and share a combined superpower: three singular voices with a disarming united strength. Their debut album All For Something was recorded at the legendary SoundCity Studios in Los Angeles and produced by Tony Berg and Will Maclellan (boygenius, Phoebe Bridgers), and is a deeply personal and moving journey traversing themes of sensitivity, insecurity, nostalgia, love and friendship, all woven together with an ever-present sense of vulnerability and honesty backed by the remarkable power of their harmonies to leave an indelible mark on its listeners.

They have lent their talents to Noah Kahan’s Live Lounge for BBC Radio 1, collaborations with Mark Ronson, JP Saxe and Holly Humberstone, played Newport Folk Festival, Bonnaroo and Montreal Jazz, secured a sync with the Netflix original film ‘Your Place Or Mine’, performed with Kacey Musgraves in New York, and have seen glowing support and praise from the likes of Teen Vogue, NME, Rolling Stone, The Independent, The Telegraph, frankie magazine, The New Yorker, DORK, The Line Of Best Fit, Pilerats, Ones To Watch, The AU Review, Luna Collective, 10 Magazine, Our Culture, Thomas Bleach, BBC Radio 1, SiriusXM, triple j (rotation – ‘I Don’t Have The Heart’), ABC Radio National, 2SER, Triple R, FBi Radio and many others.
