RED HOT SUMMER TOUR is thrilled to announce next season’s line up with classic rock titans, ZZ TOP, headlining along with the masters of American blues-rock, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, as special guests. They will also be joined by local Aussie rockers, The Living End, Baby Animals, Rose Tattoo & Dallas Frasca.
These iconic outdoor shows will take place centre stage in April / May next year in Bendigo, Mornington, Hunter Valley, Wollongong and Sandstone Point. And this uncompromising line-up will guarantee music fans one hell of a day of rock ‘n’ roll.

ZZ TOP, “That Little Ol’ Band From Texas” has been at it for well over a half century, delivering rock, blues and boogie on the road and in the studio to millions of devoted fans. With classic songs such as “Sharp Dressed Man”,“Legs” and “Gimme Me All Your Lovin” and iconography as distinctive as their sound, ZZ TOP is virtually synonymous with beards, hot-rod cars, spinning guitars and that magic keychain, all of which transcend geography and language.
As a touring entity, the bands current line-up of Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard and Elwood Francis have performed before millions of fans on four continents.
They have sold hundreds of millions of records over the course of their career, have been officially designated as Heroes of The State of Texas, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (by Keith Richards, no less) and have been referenced in countless cartoons and sitcoms. They are true rock icons and, against all odds, they’re really just doing what they’ve always done.

Since 1976, George Thorogood & The Destroyers have sold over 15 million albums, built a catalogue of classic hits, and played more than 8,000 ferocious live shows including their 2022 tour of Australia and New Zealand on their 45th Anniversary ‘Good To Be Bad Tour’.
Through it all, they’ve remained one of the most consistent – and consistently passionate –progenitors of blues-based rock in pop culture history. For Thorogood and his longtime band – Jeff Simon (drums, percussion), Bill Blough (bass guitar), Jim Suhler (rhythm guitar) and Buddy Leach (saxophone) – the power to rock audiences has been both battle cry and creed since the beginning.
It’s on stage that George & The Destroyers flip the switch delivering their signature hits “Get A Haircut”, “I Drink Alone”, “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer”, “Move It On Over”, “Who Do You Love” and the definitive badass anthem “Bad To The Bone”.

The Living End are an Australian punk rock band formed in 1994. Since 2002 the line-up consists of Chris Cheney, Scott Owen and Andy Strachan. The band rose to fame in 1997 after the release of their double A-sided single, “Second Solution” / “Prisoner of Society”. They have released eight studio albums and have had two No. 1 debuts on the Australian Albums Aria Chart. They have also gained chart success in the United States and United Kingdom. The Living End are one of Australia’s most ferocious live acts, consistently headlining festivals around the country. Their blistering live performances have earned the band an enviable position of one of Australia’s greatest live bands.

It has been 30 years since one of Australia’s most revered rock bands, Baby Animals, burst onto the scene with the release of their 8 x Platinum, ARIA Award winning, self-titled debut album, featuring iconic hits ‘Rush You’, ‘Early Warning’, ‘Painless’ and ‘One Word’. The band was touring with Van Halen in the US when they heard the album had topped the charts, ‘Baby Animals’ spending six weeks at number one in Australia and keeping Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ out of top spot. The album went eight times platinum and won three ARIA Awards – Best Album, Best Debut Album and Best Debut Single. It was also declared one of the Top 25 albums of 1992 in UK rock bible Kerrang!, and Baby Animals performed ‘Painless’ on Late Night With David Letterman. They later appeared in The 100 Best Australian Albums, and Suze DeMarchi was also featured in the book Rock Chicks, The Hottest Female Rockers from the 1960s to now.

Rose Tattoo, the true rock and roll outlaws and first and last gang in town rumbled into existence in late 1976 with a New Year’s Eve debut at Sydney’s legendary Bondi Lifesaver.
The band was the vision of Pete Wells, former bassist with Sydney heavy metal kids, Buffalo, his master plan embellished by ex-Band of Light bassist, Ian Rilen. With Wells on slide guitar and Rilen on bass, former Buster Brown singer, Angry Anderson was recruited along with rhythm guitarist Mick Cocks and drummer Dallas “Digger” Royal and they set about destroying eardrums and venues across Australia.
With the band’s enormous power came a level of internal combustion and in August 1977, Rilen left on the eve of the release of the band’s debut single for Alberts, Bad Boy For Love to form the soon to be equally infamous X Geordie Leach who had played with Angry in Buster Brown stepped in to replace Rilen and the band’s classic self-titled debut album produced by Vanda and Young was released in late 1978 with the killer singles, Bad Boy For Love, Rock n’ Roll Outlaw and One of the Boys.

With a career spanning over a decade, Dallas Frasca stands as a true force of her generation—a charismatic presence on stage, a fierce guitar slinger, and a commanding voice behind the mic. Hailing from North-East Victoria, Frasca is now forging a bold new chapter in her illustrious career, breaking away from her renowned rock band to launch her latest power duo venture. Her 2024 #2 ARIA-charting album, Force of Nature, showcases her mastery of both electric and acoustic guitars, dynamic live looping, and powerhouse vocals that match the intensity of her electrifying instrumentation.
Having toured the world with over 1,000 live performances—including 10 international tours—Frasca has not only charted a #2 ARIA album independently but also garnered numerous accolades, including ‘Artist of the Year’ at the Independent Music Awards. She even fronted legendary Aussie rock band Midnight Oil in support of Amnesty International.
With releases like; Force of Nature (2024), Dirt Buzz (2016), Love Army (2015), Sound Painter (2012), and Not For Love or Money (2009), Frasca has shared the stage with icons such as Patti Smith, Aerosmith and Earth Wind & Fire. Endorsed by Guns N’ Roses’ own Slash, who praised her “great vocals, riffs, and grooves,” Frasca has amassed a devoted following both locally and internationally.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
