Have you always wanted to be a musician? When did you start writing music?
I started playing guitar when I was 5 and writing music when I was 6 and have wanted to be a full time musician ever since.

Which music did you grow up listening to? How has it influenced your current style? 
I listened to everything growing up and was extremely influenced by 90’s rock. Some of my favorites are Alanis Morrisette, Nirvana, Sublime, Social Distortion and women of country like Dolly, Loretta, Shania, Martina, Dixie Chicks. 

How would you describe your sound? 
Sad girl country music

Why do you think people resonate with your music?
All of my songs are stories about real life, people can relate to real experiences.

Your new single “Neon Angel (Cowboys Never Stay)”’ has just been released to Australian Country Radio.    Describe its origin and evolution. 
Neon Angel is a song I wrote about my journey in love. I’ve been in love many times, but it never quite sticks for one reason or another.

Do you have any new music in the works?
My next single “Lonely” will be released in early December, check the socials for some sneak peeks

Do you have plans to tour Australia? What are you looking forward to, and what can the fans expect?
I would absolutely love to come perform in Australia, just waiting for an invite. If you come to one of my shows, be ready to laugh, cry and get drunk!

If you could perform with any music artist, Alive or Dead, who would you choose? And why? 
It would be such a blast to sing a song with the queen Dolly Parton. She’s unapologetically herself and always has been. I love her style, her voice and how much she loves others.

What’s next for you in the near future? 
I’ll be releasing a ton of music in the new year and have a tour scheduled for the UK and Europe next summer, hoping to add dates in Australia!

What are your longer-term aspirations? 
I’ll eventually put out an album when it feels like a complete body of work

What is the best thing about performing to a live audience? 
I love meeting people and sharing experiences with them. Each show is an opportunity to get to know a new group of people and just connect with other humans.
