Responding to overwhelming demand during today’s artist presale, rising country star, Sam Barber adds second shows in Melbourne and Brisbane to his Restless Mind Tour, heading to Australia across April and May 2025. Joined by special guest Cameron Whitcomb.

Making his anticipated return, Sam Barber’s Restless Mind Tour will visit Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Sam will now play back-to-back nights at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Saturday 26 April and Sunday 27 April (new show, just added) and The Triffid, Brisbane on Wednesday 30 April and Thursday 1 May (all ages show, just added). ​

Joining Sam Barber on all Australian dates is Canadian country music singer, Cameron Whitcomb. Reaching the Top 20 of American Idol, Whitcomb’s popularity rapidly increased, leading to the release of ‘The Devil I’ve Seen’ as well as his label debut single ‘Rocking Chair’. Offering a glimpse into the complexities of his life and the darker aspects of human experiences, Cameron Whitcomb’s ability to weave personal tales into compelling musical narratives sets him apart in the songwriting landscape. ​

Barber was thrust into the spotlight in 2022 when his original song ‘Straight and Narrow’, a bedroom recording of a song he’d written when he was just 16, went viral. A powerful acoustic track about overcoming life’s countless hurdles, the breakout track proved a US Platinum-certified sensation, reaching #1 on viral charts worldwide while landing on multi-format Billboard Charts, ‘Hot Rock Songs’, ‘Hot Rock & Alternative Songs’ and ‘Hot Country Songs’.

What followed was a whirlwind journey of showcasing his talent to the world. Making his live debut in June 2023 at The Basement in Nashville which proved a sell-out, three months later, he took the iconic Grand Ole Opry stage. In between, he played at Bruce Springsteen’s BST Hyde Park series as well as performances at Stagecoach, Lollapallooza and Australia’s own Ridin’ Hearts Festival.
