Central Coast based singer/songwriter Jethro Morris has just released his sublime and introspective new single ‘Welcome Home’, which premiered exclusively via AAA Backstage.
“Welcome Home takes certain memories of my life and places them in different rooms of a house that I wonder through. It’s a song about personal growth, reflection, tragedy, resilience and love. There are nods to things my family and friends recognise, such as the cover art being a friend’s house that I reference in the first verse, and more personal moments that I sing about in the second verse. It was inspired by a sketch I had done where you could see rooms, furniture, memories, inside of someone’s head, and what it would be like for someone to show you just a little bit of their ‘house’.“

Employing a very grounded style of recording, Jethro Morris pens earnest music that is both raw and personal. Inspired by the likes of Elliot Smith, Stella Donnelley and John Mayer, his brand of Indie Folk is bound to capture hearts and minds.
New single ‘Welcome Home’ is available on all major online stores and streaming services.

“An awesome folk tune that doesn’t rely on too many bells and whistles, just lovely songwriting and a singalong chorus.” Steph Hughes – Triple J

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
