With “YSILANDIA,” the Rolling Stone-crowned ‘it girl’/‘pop girl’ invites listeners to explore the unpredictable landscape of a self-doubting mind – one filled with hesitation, longing, and the constant question: what if? The track’s anthemic production, helmed by DallasK, invokes an atmosphere of reflective nostalgia. “YSILANDIA,” alongside the recent track, “Skittles,” preview GALE’s anticipated next project, which was just named one of Rolling Stone’s “Albums We Can’t Wait to Hear” for 2025. In GALE’s own words, “‘YSILANDIA’ was born from the mental chaos we experience when we overthink everything, especially in love. It’s an honest internal conversation, inspired by something I learned in therapy, that reflects what goes on in the minds of those who overthink (like me). This song is even more special because I wrote and sang it with ROBI, an incredible artist from Puerto Rico whom I deeply admire. His music, lyrics, and voice have a unique way of connecting, and working together on this was magical. I hope that when you listen to it, you feel less alone in your thoughts and find a little peace within the chaos.”

The release of “YSILANDIA” follows a recent string of 2024 standout releases, including “Por Si Las Dudas” with Lagos, “Tarantino” with Pol Granch and the chart-topping “La Razón” with Ana Mena. GALE also made waves on Billboard charts with her reimagined cover of Shakira’s “Inevitable”, further solidifying her reputation as one of Latin music’s most versatile and dynamic voices.
