As September 2 – 5 nears, the team behind BIGSOUND today proudly reveal their full Program for 2025. A compelling range of talent discovery, thought leadership and opportunities to connect – this year’s line up demonstrates just why BIGSOUND is considered the Southern Hemisphere’s premier music industry event.
130 bands, 100 industry speakers, 70 conference sessions and workshops, 18 stages – Australia’s loudest week in music will see Fortitude Valley come to life day and night! By day the conference will see a wealth of knowledge and lived experience across all facets of industry shared from those working behind the scenes, on and off stages and in boardrooms; while by night the BIGSOUND festival will showcase what can only be described as the future of music.
With this year’s heavyweight speakers and official showcase artists already announced, today’s launch will bring BIGSOUND’s infamous special events line up to centre stage!
BIGSOUND delegates will be treated to an epic special events line up including the Live Nation ONES TO WATCH Showcase, the Amazon Music Sessions at La La Land, the BIGSOUND River Cruise presented by Dark Arts Global and Chameleon Touring Systems, Select Music’s 20 Year Birthday Party, the BIGSOUND Closing Night Party – this year presented by The Tivoli, and the highly anticipated Oztix BIGSOUND Party returns, bringing the vibe and music to The Brightside.

.
Stuart Field, co-founder of Oztix said, “We’re turning up the volume with an epic lineup featuring Kisschasy, The Southern River Band and Day We Ran, along with some of the most exciting acts in the country right now! The Oztix Party is about teaming up with our mates at QMusic to bring the vibes and hospitality to a venue full of industry legends and music lovers.”
New for 2025, the official BIGSOUND Delegate Hub presented by Oztix is taking over the foyer of the Fortitude Music Hall – your conference mainstage location. This dedicated hub will provide quiet working spaces, coffee after 2pm, Conversation Corner sessions, as well as a place to recharge your devices and self! Plus our friends at Tixel are shouting you a free morning coffee with their Coffee Card voucher – valid before 11am and attached to your delegate pass lanyard.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to deep dive into panel topics and connect with speakers through our special Preludes and Encores series networking events that take place directly before or after panels. In addition to their activities supporting artists at the BIGSOUND Artist Hub, new major partner Community Music presents the first Encore drinks, kicking on after the opening Industry Leaders’ panel, First Word- One Brilliant Thing presented by Vinyl Media.
Conference favorite, the Roundtables supported by GYROstream is back for another mighty year, providing delegates the opportunity to sit down and chat with the biggest and best. Wander The Lanes, Fortitude Valley where small venues will host a variety of activations, meet ups and mixers including the Archie Rose Vinyl Pop Up stocked with records, bespoke Archie Rose cocktails and surprise DJ sets.

For the creators, marketing and media professionals the BIGSOUND Content House is making its debut. Programmed specifically to facilitate content creators and media minds, Content House will offer a range of workshops, activations and creation labs from partners including Spotify AU/NZ and CLIPPED TV. TikTok will take over Content House on Thursday (4 Sep) with Masterclasses, lunch and knock off drinks. Open to BIGSOUND delegates and artists, Content House visitors can expect exclusive interviews and fresh content opportunities daily, all hosted at Summa House.
The Brunswick Mall Stage is back! Offering a free all-ages line up for all those visiting the Valley during BIGSOUND. Program highlights include Writers in the Round presented by APRA AMCOS and Big Loud, Yama-Nui Records & OneRPM, pop up artist showcases from two innovative labels; and Winners of the Qube Effect, an opportunity for Brisbane City Council-supported talent to perform for industry and music fans alike.
Aether Brewing are bringing us the Tastemaker -the official Beer of BIGSOUND! Not only will this beer be available at all our BIGSOUND venues, you now have the chance to win your way to BIGSOUND 2025 by popping into participating independent bottleshops and picking up a four pack of Aether beer.
QMusic and BIGSOUND Director of Partnerships, Michelle Connery says as a not-for-profit music industry body, investment from corporate partners allows QMusic and BIGSOUND to continue to support artists and our industry.
“Every dollar that’s invested in us by our partners goes directly to programs and events that bolster our industry” – like BIGSOUND.
“We are incredibly lucky that our partners of all levels, but in particular our presenting partners Oztix and Spotify; and strategic partners the Queensland Government, Brisbane City Council, Brisbane Economic Development Agency and, Tourism and Events Queensland share our passion for new talent discovery and industry professional development – helping ensure the future of Australian music looks bright.”

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
