Multi-platinum DJ and production duo CamelPhat are ditching the UK winter for an Australian summer, announcing dates in Melbourne and Sydney in January 2026. Marking their first time down under since 2023, CamelPhat will help you dance your way into the new year with their global house anthems.
The duo will take over Sydney’s contemporary arts centre Carriageworks, the stunningly converted railway workshops on Friday 16 January, then head to St Kilda’s beachside dance club RIVA in Melbourne on Saturday 17 January. VIP Onstage Access Tickets are available for those wanting the full CamelPhat experience, offering onstage access, balcony views and more.
Creating one of the biggest global dance hits of the modern age, CamelPhat’s breakout hit “Cola”, racked up over a billion streams and earned Platinum certifications across multiple countries. The Liverpool duo of Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala have continued to redefine house music with standout releases like “Breathe” and “Panic Room”.

Dave and Mike had parallel upbringings in Liverpool, both bedroom DJs from the age of 12. The pair threw themselves into the local clubbing scene, later meeting and bonding over their shared love of funky house. They began DJ’ing together every weekend, differentiating themselves from the trance that dominated the EDM scene with their emphasis on groove and sensuality. In 2008, they photographed themselves in wrestling masks, called themselves CamelPhat, set up a Soundcloud with the location set to Milan and put out a couple of tracks – they haven’t looked back since.
From local heroes to Grammy-nominated producers behind some of the most iconic tracks in modern dance music, CamelPhat have always prided themselves on doing things differently. With a self-described anti-philosophy of “doing the opposite of the obvious is when things happen”, CamelPhat refuse to be pigeonholed. The Liverpool duo have gone on to sell out shows across the globe, including residencies at infamous venues like Alemagou in Mykonos and Pacha in Ibiza.
2025 has seen CamelPhat continue at full speed with high-profile performances including the cutting-edge Sphere in Las Vegas and a three-night takeover of some of Amsterdam’s premier clubs and an unforgettable set at the Giza Pyramids.
Gearing up for a massive year of music, CamelPhat’s highly anticipated third studio album promises yet another evolution in their sound, once again blurring the lines between CamelPhat and the rest of the dance music world.
