Australia’s newest club/pop act 2charm today debut with their single and video, “boyfriend”.
“boyfriend” is a slick, hyperpop-laced tease of heart-pumping beats, guitar synths and pitched out vocal hooks that are altogether inescapably danceable. Produced by Ninajirachi, the track is flirty from every angle, with an addictive playfulness and just the right dose of danger spurned by its deep and dirty basslines.
“‘boyfriend’ was born in the afterglow of a perfect euro summer, in one of the most euphoric sessions ever with Ninajirachi. We made it really quickly and were just like, ‘this is the best song we’ve ever heard.’ The track is playful and a little dangerous—the feeling of wanting something you know you shouldn’t and giving in anyway.” – 2charm
The act will debut their delicious live show tonight at The Tivoli, supporting indie darling Mallrat for Brisbane Festival. Next up, they’ll take on SXSW Sydney this October – expect equal parts rapture and glamour in the heart of Eora.

2charm thrive in the nocturnal world of glitter and grime, hedonism and haunts; where beauty and chaos coexist. In 2charm’s city – built on bright lights and the poetry of survival – dashes of indie-house, ethereal pop, techno, dubstep and baile funk are stirred and shaken into a sonic cocktail to cure all ailments. Think of them as the soundtrack for the moments to remember and those we’d prefer not to.
Grinding on the edges of ecstasy and transcendence, at the soul of 2charm is the restless spirit of youth on the fringe. Watch this space, dance in the meantime.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
