Fresh off last week’s announcement of his new partnership with Virgin Music Group, Australian country mainstay Morgan Evans is celebrating his roots with his new single “Beer Back Home.”

Recorded in Nashville and co-produced by Morgan Evans and Todd Clark, “Beer Back Home” is an upbeat and nostalgic soundtrack, built for a Saturday night.
“I had to get outta this town. I needed something real. Old mates, familiar places, and salt water,” Morgan shares. “I reconnected with where I came from, who I was, who I wanna be. This record is a journey, and it all started with a beer back home.”
“Beer Back Home” is Evans’ first single in over two years – a period of reflection spent in his hometown of Newcastle, Australia, which saw Morgan tapping into a deep vein of creativity. Ultimately, that centering period in Australia brought him back to Nashville with a renewed passion for crafting songs that resonate on a global scale. That full journey and reflective energy will be captured on his upcoming sophomore album, Steel Town, out March 20, 2026.

Over the course of his career, Evans has garnered over one billion career streams and scored country radio #1 hits with the Platinum-certified “Kiss Somebody” and Gold-certified fan favourite “Day Drunk.” Following the release of two follow up EPs, Evans hit a new career high with the release of the raw and viral “Over For You.” The track marked a cathartic reset and culminated in two sold-out nights at the iconic Sydney Opera House, just down the road from his hometown—a milestone captured on his 17-song Live at the Sydney Opera House album.

About MORGAN EVANS
Beneath the globally appealing country sound Morgan Evans is known for runs the unmistakable influence of his coastal Australian roots. Raised by blue-collar parents on a few acres of land along Australia’s east coast, he carries that grounding with him wherever his music goes.
It’s been two years since he last released music. Evans spent much of this in his hometown of Newcastle, the steel city where he first fell in love with songwriting. That period of reflection tapped a deep vein of creativity, ultimately bringing him back to Nashville with a renewed passion for crafting songs that resonate on a global scale. Today, his music has been streamed over one billion times worldwide, a testament to the universal connection he’s built with fans.
His 2018 debut album, Things That We Drink To, catapulted Evans into international acclaim, delivering his first-ever country radio #1 with the Platinum-certified “Kiss Somebody” and the Gold-certified fan favourite “Day Drunk,” while drawing praise from Rolling Stone, Billboard, PEOPLE, and more. In 2022, he headlined Australia’s biggest country music festival, CMC Rocks, and has toured extensively across North America and Europe.
Following two more EPs, Evans hit a new career high with the release of the raw and viral “Over For You.” The track marked a cathartic reset and culminated in two sold-out nights at the iconic Sydney Opera House, just down the road from his hometown—a milestone captured on his 17-song Live at the Sydney Opera House album.
Evans is now putting the finishing touches on his hotly anticipated sophomore studio album, set for release in early 2026.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
