From the quiet lanes of Castlederg, Northern Ireland, to the songwriting rooms of Nashville, country artist Gareth has been on an extraordinary journey – and now, he’s taking it Down Under. The rising talent today announced his Australian touring debut set for March 2026, following a breakout year that has seen him win over audiences across the US, UK and Europe.
After going viral with his heartfelt rendition of ‘Stick Season’ by Noah Kahan, Gareth’s raw storytelling and unmistakable Irish warmth have earned him a fast-growing global following. Since relocating to Nashville earlier this year, he has been writing with some of music’s biggest names, including Ilsey Juber (Jelly Roll, Beyoncé, Cam, Miley Cyrus), Shay Mooney (Dan + Shay), and Zach Crowell (Sam Hunt, Old Dominion, Luke Bryan).
“I still can’t quite believe how far this has all come,” says Gareth. “I grew up in a tiny town where dreams like this felt a world away. To be heading to Australia with songs that were written in my bedroom or in Nashville studios – it’s surreal, and I can’t wait to meet everyone who has been supporting me from the other side of the world.”
The tour announcement comes as Gareth gears up to release his highly anticipated new EP, Bluebird, on October 24th, the follow-up to Steal Your Thunder released in May. His debut headline tour across the United States wrapped last week, and he’ll return home for a UK and Ireland run in December before heading to Australia in March.
Beginning at Perth’s Amplifier Bar (24 March), the tour continues through Melbourne’s Night Cat (26 March) and Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory (27 March), concluding at Brisbane’s Brightside (28 March).
Fans will have the first chance to grab tickets through a series of exclusive presales ahead of the general on-sale on Friday, October 17th (9am AEDT) via Live Nation here:

About GARETH:
Rising country artist Gareth is quickly making a name for himself with a sound that bridges the heart of Nashville and the soul of Northern Ireland. Born in the small town of Castlederg and raised on legends like George Jones and Hank Williams Jr., Gareth’s love of country music runs deep. After building a loyal fan base online through heartfelt cover songs, his breakout moment came with a stripped-down version of Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season,” which went viral and set the stage for an international career.
Now based in Nashville, Gareth’s original music has struck a chord with fans across the globe. His newest EP, Steal Your Thunder, captures the emotional depth and melodic strength that define his style, while his latest single “Shoulders I Stand On” showcases a confident new chapter—pairing honest songwriting with bold, modern production. Together, his growing catalog has helped him surpass 70 million global streams and earn a publishing deal with BMG. Gareth’s music has received widespread editorial support, landing placements on flagship playlists like New Boots and Today’s Country, and earning consistent airplay on SiriusXM’s The Highway, Smooth Country, and Absolute Country Radio.
He’s cultivated a dedicated following of over one million fans across social media and spent Summer 2024 touring internationally. Headlining sold-out shows across the UK and Europe and performing at Belfast’s SSE Arena alongside Kip Moore. With a full-length project on the way and a packed tour schedule, Gareth is stepping confidently into the spotlight bringing a fresh voice and global perspective to country music’s next chapter.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
