‘MEDICINE’
from upcoming debut album

Just-turned-18yo Brisbane rapper Massy has been steadily dropping tracks on Soundcloud since mid-2023 and carving it up on the Queensland rap scene, with a new release on Spotify and Official Lyric Video on YouTube for his new single ‘Medicine’ on October 17, which has already had thousands of streams on Soundcloud. ‘Medicine’ is lifted from Massy’s forthcoming debut album which is due out in December.
The song was written on a Gold Coast train trip, inspired by the ongoing surroundings. Crossing borders and boundaries literally and figuratively, dropping explicit and implicit hints into Massy’s young, growing life; recorded that night – recorded, mixed and mastered in his home studio. The Official Music Video was created by budding cinematographer and close friend, Shaelin Skirving-Stevenson.
Massy cut his teeth on the live scene at Visible Ink Youth Hub open mic nights in Fortitude Valley last year, before scoring a slot opening for Eso (Bliss’n’Eso) late 2024, and in 2025 has been hitting the battle rap scene in Brisbane, and will be performing and co-hosting the next edition of Brisbane Teenage Fanclub all ages concert series, on Sunday 7th December at the Triffid Garden, 2-5pm.

Massy (pronounced Mahr-Zee) is a prolific songwriter who defies his young age with thought-provoking lyrics. Growing up moving around QLD and NSW across rural towns and bustling cityscapes has provided rich inspiration for his music.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
