German Melodic Metal act FREEDOM CALL’s history is certainly something to be proud of.
The band fronted by founding member, vocalist/guitarist Chris Bay has released a total of 11 studio albums including their sensational debut Stairway To Fairyland, 3 haunting live releases and 1 compilation album.

FREEDOM CALL are ever-present live on stage, having toured not only with the likes of SAXON, EDGUY, DRAGONFORCE, BLIND GUARDIAN and HAMMERFALL but have also played successful headlining tours worldwide as well as all major festivals from WACKEN to SWEDEN ROCK, MASTERS OF ROCK, BARCELONA ROCK FEST, HELLFEST, GRASPOP and the prestigious 70,000 TONS OF METAL CRUISE.
Their exceedingly melodic songs are frequently referred to as “Happy Metal” and indeed FREEDOM CALL more than deserve the title of “Happiest Metal Band In The World”.
Chris and bandmates Lars Rettkowtiz (guitar), Francesco Ferraro (bass) and Ramy Ali (drums); the latter having returned from a private hiatus, have recorded more than a dozen new tracks for their latest album Silver Romance. The result is the most diverse and colourful album in the band’s history to date which reached a Top 50 position in the Official German Album Charts plus a Top 20 position in the Official Swiss Album Charts.

After decades of waiting, FREEDOM CALL will finally bring their energetic and explosive live show to Australia for the first time, performing 3 shows in May 2026.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
