Following the announcement of their third studio album Platonic Romance (out 9th January via AWAL), Chicago duo DRAMA today return with their captivating new single and music video ‘Savannah’. Known for their intoxicating blend of house, R&B, soul, and dance-pop, producer Na’el Shehade and vocalist Via Rosa once again deliver their signature “lovesick” sound – music that thrives in the space between heartbreak and euphoria.
One of the lighter moments on the upcoming record, “Savannah” radiates warmth and optimism with its sweet melodic hooks, uplifting guitar licks, and feel-good energy.
Speaking about the song, DRAMA share; “Who is Savannah? She’s the part of us that wants to leave when love gets hard – when doubt shows up, when someone we care about is changing, and we’re not sure we can change with them. This song lives in that moment: the crossroads between fear and faith, between running and growing. It’s the voice of a friend who stops you before you walk away and says, ‘Don’t throw away something real just because it isn’t easy.’”

The release of “Savannah” follows a remarkable run for DRAMA, who have evolved from underground favorites to international fixtures. Over nearly a decade together, they’ve released acclaimed projects including Dance Without Me (2020) and Till We Die (2023), collaborated with Flight Facilities, supported Coldplay, ODESZA, and Jungle, and performed at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and Electric Forest. Their breakout single “You’ve Done Enough” with Gorgon City has now surpassed 100 million streams globally and earned BRIT Certified Silver status.
