Australia’s pop prodigy Ruel has today announced that fellow local pop star Kita Alexander will be joining him On The Steps at the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday December 9.
Tickets for the show are on sale now via frontiertouring.com/ruel, including newly announced Golden Circle, VIP, and GA ticket options.
After becoming the youngest artist to sell out the Sydney Opera House’s Concert Hall, twice, in 2019, the show is a triumphant return to the venue for Ruel, now conquering the outdoor Forecourt off the back of releasing his sophomore album, Kicking My Feet.

“The 11-track record marks a confident leap forward for the 22-year-old, blending emotional honesty with the rich, genre-blurring sound that has defined his rise from teenage prodigy to international star.” – Rolling Stone Australia
Kicking My Feet showcases the 22-year-old’s sharpened songwriting as he explores the innocence and embarrassment of being young and in love, as the album title teases. Alongside frequent collaborator M-Phazes, the album has Ruel expanding his roster of creative partners, including Dan Wilson, Joel Little, Kenny Beats, and Julian Bunetta. The experimentation with his sound and artistry has Ruel evolving himself into a bolder musician on an unmissable trajectory.
Known for her heartfelt lyrics, sun-soaked melodies, and distinctive pop sensibility, Kita Alexander is on the fast track to become Australia’s next big pop star.

About RUEL
Australia’s pop prodigy Ruel is growing up and it shows on his highly anticipated sophomore album Kicking My Feet, available Friday 17 October via Recess Records / Virgin Music Group. Pop’s newest It Boy has been on the rise since he was a teenager, adorning his studio walls are an ever-growing collection of platinum plaques and award statues from the likes of RIAA, MTV, ARIA and Nickelodeon. Here in Australia, he’s received widespread love at Triple J, Rolling Stone AU, The Guardian + so much more.
He has amassed over three billion streams, sold out multiple world tours and regularly attends fashion shows at the invitation of luxury haute couture such as Louis Vuitton and Hermès. Away from the runway, Ruel’s admiration for unique, highly conceptualised style can be seen in his editorials with Prada and Fendi, and through his extensive list of features on the pages of Vogue, GQ, NME and The Face. Around the world, eyes have been keenly watching Ruel’s career ascent; notably by Sir Elton John and Zane Lowe, both of whom have sung the praises of the UK-born, Sydney-raised talent, calling him a “superstar.”

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
