Australian singer-songwriter and performer Renee Naccari unleashes her newest single OB$ESSIVE, out Friday, November 7th, 2025. Following her darker releases Fantasy and Destructive, Renee now turns the spotlight toward herself in this explosive, hyperpop-inspired dance track that celebrates confidence, power, and the intoxicating thrill of self-obsession.
A glittering fusion of dance-pop, hyperpop, and electro energy, OB$ESSIVE channels the chaotic spirit of pop icons like Charli XCX, Kesha, and Slayyter. It’s unapologetically bold—fuelled by pulsing synths, playful lyrics, and a god-complex energy that captures today’s influencer generation. The track invites listeners to revel in their own confidence and ambition, embracing that “main character” moment we all crave.

Produced once again by Nat J Sherwood (also behind Fantasy), OB$ESSIVE began as a completely different idea before evolving into the high-energy, tongue-in-cheek anthem it is now. “This song is about becoming so in love with your own dreams that nothing can stop you,” Renee explains. “It’s the kind of song you play when you wake up and feel like the hottest version of yourself — powerful, untouchable, and unstoppable.”
The music video, filmed in an old-money mansion in Brighton, contrasts lavish luxury with modern Y2K glamour. Featuring appearances from Catia Sinigaglia and Rihana Pearson of Aussie Shore, the visuals embody a “spoilt rich kid” aesthetic — fur coats, gold jewellery, and designer attitude — paired with brand collaborations from Unreal Fur, Arms of Eve, and Trashy Timez. Bright, colourful, and dripping in excess, it’s the visual definition of new fame meets chaotic confidence.

OB$ESSIVE will be available on all major streaming platforms from Friday, November 7th, 2025, at 12 PM AEST, with the official music video premiering one week later on November 14th, 2025.
