The release follows a streak of rising momentum, including recent fan-favourite ‘Never Loved’, which was added to Spotify’s New Music Friday AU/NZ and Pop N Fresh, Apple Music’s New In Pop, and earned a First Play on triple j Unearthed, before receiving airplay across triple j Home & Hosed, HIT Hot Hits, and SYN FM.

Despite only now releasing her debut EP, Jemma has already cultivated a deeply engaged audience – 25.9k + followers on Instagram, 65.9k + on TikTok, and 12,000+ monthly Spotify listeners. She recently hosted intimate, invite-only secret listening sessions across Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, giving fans an early glimpse into Scripts of Fate. She captured the magic of these gatherings in a new video set to her single ‘Nothing To Fear’.

A singer, songwriter and storyteller of exceptional emotional insight, Jemma began her career with a remarkable list of accolades: twice winning Australian Pop Songwriter of the Year (2018, 2019) and Australian Ballad Songwriter of the Year (2020), judged by APRA AMCOS. Her collaboration with global DJ powerhouses NERVO and Wolfpack on ‘Like Air’ has amassed more than 3.5 million streams, and her songwriting talent has been recognised as a Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition finalist and International Songwriting Competition semi-finalist.

At the heart of the EP sits ‘Shouldn’t’, a track that encapsulates the project’s themes of longing, conflict and the irresistible pull toward someone you know may not be good for you. Written during an intensive creative run with producer Xavier Dunn, the track explores the magnetic connection between two people who understand each other on a level that borders on instinct — a relationship that becomes both a lifeline and a danger. Jemma’s stirring performance captures the internal battle between desire and self-preservation, the ache of relying on someone who was once your escape, and the painful clarity of knowing the connection may not be healthy. It’s a song about feeling seen in a broken moment, and the emotional complexity of holding onto someone who makes the world feel bearable, even when your mind knows to let go.

‘Never Loved’ stands as one of the EP’s most devastating and nostalgic moments – a ballad about regret, fear and emotional growth. The track reflects on realising too late that the person you pushed away was the one who cared most deeply. Written in under two hours, its central line – “I will never love anyone else the way I never loved you” – captures a bittersweet truth: the pain of not being able to express love at the time, and the promise to never let fear dictate connection again. Having been brought to life with Cyrus Villa, Xavier Dunn and Liam Quinn, the song has already resonated deeply with audiences and become one of the standout emotional anchors of the EP.

Other highlights include ‘Nothing To Fear’, a nostalgic pop anthem exploring mutual support through life’s chaos – a song about two people who stand by each other through uncertainty, whether side by side or miles apart. There’s also the beautifully restrained ‘I Will Always Love You’, written on a tight deadline before a flight to Sydney, which captures the pain of letting go of someone who was once central to your life, and the quiet truth that distance doesn’t negate love. The haunting ‘Tell Me All Your Lies’ reflects on dropping the mask we show the world and being accepted for who we truly are, while ‘Judgement’ serves as the emotional final chapter of the EP – a moving reflection on self-forgiveness, the internal conflict between who we were and who we hope to become, and the difficult work of healing. Together, these songs map a journey through heartbreak, connection, growth and reckoning, each one interwoven with the next in a narrative that spans time, memory and emotional evolution.

With influences spanning Taylor Swift’s confessional honesty, Gracie Abrams’ cinematic intimacy and Sabrina Carpenter’s pop-forward edge, Jemma is fast becoming one of Australia’s most magnetic emerging pop artists. Beyond her music, she is also the founder of Club Siles, Australia’s first medical-wellness club – redefining what modern wellbeing can look like through an innovative blend of yoga, infrared therapy, hormone care, fertility services and more. As both artist and entrepreneur, she brings a sense of empowerment and emotional intelligence to every facet of her work.

In Scripts of Fate, Jemma Siles presents a debut body of work brimming with honesty, emotional intelligence and an intuitive understanding of the human heart. It’s a project shaped by personal evolution and creative fearlessness, a reminder that growth often begins in the moments we don’t expect, and that the stories that shape us are sometimes the hardest ones to tell. With the EP now out in the world, Jemma steps fully into her own as one of Australia’s most exciting new pop voices, offering a collection that is not only deeply personal, but destined to resonate widely with listeners navigating their own turning points.
