GORDI
shares new single
‘HIGH LINE’
+ Announces Australian
Headline Tour
.

Singer-songwriter and producer Gordi kicks off the year with brand new single ‘High Line’, following on from last year’s release of her third album Like Plasticine. The perfect soundtrack to the news of her headline Australian tour, playing 11 dates across the country from March to May this year.
A gorgeous slow-burner, ‘High Line’ was written by Gordi and Alex Lahey, featuring American songwriter Christian Lee-Hutson on guitars. The track, completely recorded, produced and mixed by Gordi, is an immaculate piece of story-telling anchored by an infectious melody and sparse, decorative production.
“I wrote these lyrics on a scorching hot day in July. The strawberry and tomato plants that were growing at my friend’s front door needed a good drenching with the hose. Keeping them alive in the heatwave was a battle. I picked a few and they burst in my mouth. Acid and sweet at the same time. I strummed my acoustic under the weary ceiling fan. The guitar was making my thighs slick with sweat. And then, rapidly, it arrived: High Line. I asked Christian Lee Hutson to record some guitar for it – I can’t think of a guitar player I enjoy listening to more. He sent a part over and I crafted the rest of the song around it.” – Gordi

August 2025 saw the release of Gordi’s third album Like Plasticine. The record, which was nominated for this year’s ARIA Award for Best Adult Contemporary Album and placed #3 in Double J’s Best 50 Albums of 2025, featured singles including ‘Peripheral Lover’, ‘Cutting Room Floor’, and ‘Lunch At Dune’. Songs from Like Plasticine have solidified Gordi’s global footprint, drawing acclaim from Grammy.com, The Guardian, NPR, Stereogum, Rolling Stone, Dork and more, with radio love from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6, Radio X, and major AAA stations in the US including KEXP, KCRW, and Sirius XM. In addition, two billboards in Times Square saw Gordi front and centre representing Spotify’s GLOW and Amazon Music’s PROUD.
Recently wrapping up a stellar run of live shows for 2025, including a sold-out Sydney Opera House, headline dates across the US, UK and Europe and support slots for Lapsley and David Gray, 2026 is set to be another huge year for Gordi.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
