This marks the opening chapter of the band’s most ambitious era to date. Following the critical acclaim of Church of the Pistoleros — hailed as one of 2025’s most fearless and eclectic rock albums — Gypsy Pistoleros return darker, bolder, and more unhinged than ever. Dark Faerie Tales is glam-goth-punk with teeth: theatrical, feral, cinematic, and wired straight into the outlaw bloodstream.

A FAIRYTALE FOR THE DAMNED

Produced and co-written once again by sonic architect Dave Draper (Michael Monroe, Ginger Wildheart, The Wildhearts, Ryan Hamilton, Therapy?, Elvana), “Dark Faerie Tales” blends Glam soaked punk energy with gothic grandeur, pure fire, and apocalyptic swagger.

The album unfolds like a dark fairytale — a church burns, its followers scatter, and the story resurfaces as ritual and legend. It’s about inherited rebellion, songs as survival, and the cult that grows from apocalyptic destruction . Myth gives way to forest ritual, where belief mutates, memory lingers, and music becomes a form of magick. The track sets the tone for the full album, due April 17th, 2026 — a decadent and dangerous collection of tales for the beautiful, the broken, and the strange of heart.

To support the release, Gypsy Pistoleros will embark on the Dark Faerie Tales U.K. Tour, with additional festival and European dates to be announced.
