Long-standing supporters of the LGBTQIA+ communities Absolut Vodka are teaming up with Heaps Gay for the return of one of Sydney’s most vibrant queer events: the iconic Heaps Gay Street Party. Taking over a secret location in Marrickville on Saturday 29 November to celebrate 12 years, the Street Party will feature three open-air stages with an incredible lineup of DJs, live performers and dance crews to take you from day-to-night.
After five consecutive sell-outs, Heaps Gay Street Party has firmly cemented its status as a cornerstone of Sydney’s queer cultural calendar. In 2025, it continues to amplify creativity, self-expression and connection through a celebration of music, art and community with more than 50 artists set to appear. From house and nu-disco, to pop and experimental dance, Heaps Gay showcases both emerging talent and established queer icons; expect performances from international and local artists alike including Reysha Rami (US), ISAbella (ES), 2charm, Vv Pete, Cosmo’s Midnight, Cat & Calmell, Djanaba, Mazand many more. As always, expect the unexpected, with Dyke Handwrestling, Saddle Club Line Dancing and a Show Us Your Tips performance hour – with plenty of surprises to be discovered.

Set in a secret venue across Saywell Street and the surrounding Marrickville laneways, Heaps Gay Street Party transforms the inner west into an outdoor festival of sound, colour and pride – a statement of inclusivity and solidarity, creating a safe and joyous environment for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies.
Heaps Gay continues to champion accessibility, representation and community engagement, offering initiatives such as free tickets for First Nations queer people and community tickets for those assisting with event setup. Each year, the collective builds on its legacy of platforming diversity, celebrating individuality, and giving back to the community that shaped it.
Absolut has celebrated and supported the LGBTQIA+ communities for over 40 years. In 2025, Absolut proudly teams up with Heaps Gay once again in solidarity with its vibrant, expressive and inclusive culture.
Heaps Gay Street Party takes place on Saturday 29 November 2025, from 2PM to 11PM, at a secret venue in Marrickville.
Tickets are on sale now via Oztix, with second release tickets priced from $79.99. The event is strictly 18+.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
