+ THEY’RE THROWING A BIG ADELAIDE PARTY TO CELEBRATE!

Having worked tirelessly in the background of the independent music scene for some time now, co-directors Tom Gordon (Music SA, West Thebarton, Horror My Friend and Rad Music) and Josh Healey (West Thebarton and Sleep Talk) are thrilled to publicly announce Adelaide’s newest management group Planet Shhh.
Launching their roster with DIY, alternative pop, up-and-comers Paradise Club, the duo are set to make their mark on the Australian music industry with their commitment to “music that is unique and special to us, focusing on artists who are changing the game, breaking boundaries and who are striving to create something different” as Healey puts it. “We don’t take the signing of a new artist lightly” Gordon adds, “For Josh and I, they’ve gotta just have a good sense of direction and great, honest songs, without the pretense of getting on the radio, etc. We just want to work with acts that are doing because they love it, because that’s why we’re doing it”.
In celebration of the announcement, Planet Shhh have announced a launch party at Chateau Apollo in Adelaide on April 13 (co-presented by Young Henrys) with Queensland indie rock powerhouse Good Boy, Paradise Club, local alt-rock favourites Colourblind and dream pop new-comers Little Dust.
Tickets are on sale now.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
