Beloved Adelaide singer-songwriter aleksiah is back with a heartfelt message to her younger self in the form of “24”. aleksiah has taken what was originally a dark and pessimistic track and transformed it into a playful dig at her old self, serving as a hopeful reminder that things do get better.
“24 was written at a time where I felt a lot of jealousy and self-loathing. I had just turned 22 and felt miles behind all of my peers. I was yet to share any of my music in fear of rejection, but instead of trying to improve my life and gain confidence, I wrote a song that called myself out on my cynical outlook,” aleksiah shared.

“24” marks aleksiah’s change of mindset with an uptempo pace and shimmering pop instrumentals. Battling societal expectations that deter so many young people chasing their dreams, aleksiah captures the feeling of constantly trying to catch up but always being two steps behind. Revisited with a fresh perspective, “24” is the reminder we all need to stop being so hard on ourselves, enjoy the process and have faith in what the future holds.
She says “I turn 24 this year, and I think like the song says, I finally have my shit together. I want this song to bring hope to people, just like it did to me.”
aleksiah will be supporting UK’s Cavetown on his sold out tour, which starts today in Melbourne. She will also be embarking on a headline tour in support of her forthcoming EP across Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne with tickets on sale now!

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
