Alexandra Younes has been singing and performing since the age of 5. Having sung covers and tried to fit herself into a certain mould for the better part of her teenage years, she found solace in songwriting and in 2017 she took the plunge into the digital world, releasing her first single “Tomorrow”.
Taking notes from John Mayer’s stimulating lyrics and bluesy guitar licks, Alexandra began to manifest her own ideas and thoughts into sultry sounds, all while keeping the punch with her Demi Lovato-esque powerhouse vocals. Her blues-pop sound is infectious and exciting, and every track highlights the strengths of her voice and writing.
Alexandra takes you on a journey from her stripped back, raw, and honest track “I’m Still Here” to the sensual, dark and mysterious new single “Love Me”, showing the world she is truly a chameleon in the music industry. With the goal of fighting for the freedom of musicians to play whatever they feel, she continues to push for the breaking of strict genre barriers.

Playing her original music with a full band for the first time, the Love Me Single Launch (with support acts Funky Punch and Rhiannon) on 8th April at Lazybones Lounge will showcase the bigger and better things to come, with the highly anticipated release of her upcoming EP.
